This blog is moving!!

In an effort to keep up with the blogging, I'm moving this blog to a different address. This is mostly because the email address that this blog is attached to is one that I don't use anymore and it's annoying to have to remember the password! Anyway, check out our new blog at:

I'll be deleting this one eventually...

birthday and stuff

it's been a month, so i guess it's time to update the blog. last Thursday, I (Teagan) turned 30! I had one of those great birthdays where the day is drawn out into days of celebration. We had a party at my parent's lake house this past weekend...so, so fun! I'll post some pictures:

Christi, Jen, and Me...I am blessed with amazing friends.

the Sweets.

there were more pictures...I'll figure out how to post them.

You know, all week people have asked me how I feel turning 30. To be honest, I feel fine. I am very happy with where I am in life. God has been good to me. If anything, I feel officially grown up...which feels solid to me. I praise God because He has been so faithful these 22 years that I have known Him and I know He will continue to be so.

Moving Day!

We're all moved in to our new home as of last Sunday. As for the unpacking...not all done yet, but it's coming along. Eventually we'll even have furniture in every room :) Brian is eager to set up the surround sound on the TV in the bonus room. And we are finding joy in taking care of the house and encouraging our lawn to grow (with turfbuilder). Although I've only used it once, I REALLY love our bathtub. Here I'll give you a recipe for a great bubble bath: 1)run water with bubble bath. 2) turn on the whirlpool jets. It makes mountains of bubbles. Here are some pictures from moving day: Friends eating and enjoying our great big kitchen!

Here's Otis enjoying the screened in deck.

We're Big Kids Now

Brian and I closed on our house yesterday! We are so excited and wish we could just snap our fingers and be all moved in. Yesterday, we went over to the house and used our garage door openers...it's all so official. Here are some pictures of the closing:

Apparently I'm a little slower to sign than Brian.

So Much!!

I am not much of a blogger these days, am I? Shortly after I got out of college, several of my friends got married. They seemed to drop off the face of the planet for about six months after they got married. It was a very curious occurance to me. Now I understand, somehow marriage...or getting used to being married, takes A LOT of time. But it's a good time and probably a natural part of "cleaving" to your spouse...like glueing two pieces of wood together and sticking them in a clamp to set.

Anyway, I just thought I'd update the faithful few who still check this to see if I've posted anything new. We finally got our wedding pictures! We'll be sending a copy to Brian's brother, Nathan. That way, he can put them on a server and everyone can access them. Our videographer emailed me today to let me know that the DVD will be in the mail this weekend. Beware if you live nearby, we might make you watch it!!

And last, but most certainly not least, we are buying a house!! Thanks to some serious generosity from my dad and stepmom...it is so pretty. I'm attaching a picture of the front of the house. We close on April 15...which happens to be exactly one year since our first date. It's ridiculous what God can do...I am amazed. We are truly blessed.

Much love to all of you!!

It's Been Awhile

Sorry it has been awhile since I last posted a blog. Close to the wedding, life was like a race to the finish line. But we made it! And now we've had a couple of weeks to relax. We're still organizing everything and trying to figure out where to put all our stuff, but it's coming along. I'm working on changing my name to Teagan C. Rozmus.

I went to our videographer's website just to see and he has a few pictures from the wedding posted on his site: http://www.ryansproduction.com/ I'll post my favorite here for you to see:

Hopefully, we'll hear something from the photographer soon :) Love to you all!
